When in Baguio | Azalea Hotel Baguio

Baguio, Philippines – Last March 29 Tuesday, I was invited for a Baguio trip sponsored by Azalea Hotel Baguio. It was a beautiful Tuesday morning as we start travelling from Manila going to Baguio, the travel ranges approximately 4 to 5 hours depending on what day you prefer to go. Along the way, I took the opportunity to take a self-photo with the famous landmark in Baguio, the Lion. The scenery in Baguio is surreal, it was my first time to be there, and I have to say, “I’m starting to love this place.”

It was late afternoon when we finally arrive in the location. We all look exhausted and hungry. However, it was compensated with a warm welcome of the staff. Eight degree, the hotel bar lounge, welcomed us with a cookie with a fruity drink in the lounge area as we wait for further instruction on our new itinerary. We are instructed to have our dinner first to regain some energy. The dinner was served by Tradisyon, the flagship restaurant of Azalea, with delicious Filipino comfort food:

After some rest, they tour us in the hotel. Each room have a homey vibe with many amenities: Dining Table Chairs and Crockery; Kitchen appliances and utensils; Coffee and Tea-making facilities, queen-sized beds with imported linens; and balcony in choice rooms.

One of the amenities of Azalea is they can set up a tour arrangement for you, in our case we went to iLi-LikHA Artist Village in Assumption Road, Tam-Awan Village, Do some Ukay-Ukay besides Melvin Jones Grand Stand, Chase the Jumbo Sun in Mt. Yumbo, Ride a horse in Berham Park and tour the Strawberry farm. In our free time, we visited Session Road that is just walks away from our Hotel.

I will definitely go back to Azalea Baguio, I really enjoy my stay there and really felt their hospitality.
