MERALCO ORANGE TAG CAMPAIGN DOE ASEC. PATRICK AQUINO




MERALCO’S ORANGE TAG INITIATIVE TO EDUCATE CUSTOMERS ON APPLIANCES’ COST TO OPERATE. Meralco and the Department of Energy (DOE) join hands to educate consumers on the cost of operating their appliances on a per hour or per day basis through Meralco’s Orange Tag campaign. In line with DOE’s own yellow tag effort that displays the energy efficiency ratings of appliances, Meralco believes the Orange Tag will empower customers, lead them to more informed choices, and encourage energy efficiency.
